Based on the principle of laser triangulation, PSYSTEME non-contact flatness gauges are measuring now for more than 25 years the flatness of hot-strip with the highest possible accuracy in realtime.
Ultra stable lasers and high speed cameras in combination with real-time processing provide exact data for online flatness control, quality monitoring and for optimization of the rolling schedule.
The gauges are installed in hot-strip mills at the exit of the last finishing stand or in front of the down coiler.
